taking a deep breath, wiggling
his way down the hill.
.
Percy and Thomas
the small engines on PBS,
always please toddlers.
.
from Beijing to Wuhan,
High speed train drags day and night,
keep my eyes open wide.

  2. Welcome at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai Carolina, your first try to write haiku is not bad. As Janice already said I too hadn't thought of Thomas the steam engine. Nicely written/composed trio of haiku.
Hope to see you again here.
By the way ... I am your host at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. I am a Dutch haiku-poet and oncology nurse. I started writing haiku in the late eighties and Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is a dream which I could realize in October 2012.
